Piste maps and ski maps, from Val d'Isère to Kamchatka

The piste maps and ski maps for every destination where we take you skiing, all on one page. Click a logo and the map opens.

Six destinations, a map for each

In Val d'Isère and Tignes, Niseko and Nakafurano, each ski map shows the lifts, the runs and the main sectors of the ski area. For the Lofoten and Kamchatka, a regional map shows the peaks, the coastline and the valleys you will be skiing.

From the piste map to off-piste

Tignes and Val d'Isère share one ski area, linked by the lifts: here are the Tignes piste map and the Val d'Isère piste map; you can ski both resorts in the same stay.

To ski off-piste, you read the map alongside the day's avalanche bulletin, with a qualified ski instructor (French state diploma, BEES), off-piste specialist, or a guide by your side. You will find the bulletins, snow forecasts and our partners in our useful links, and every departure in our ski trips section.

The Val d'Isère tourist office also publishes the official piste map as a PDF, to print or to keep on your phone: the front side of the joint Tignes–Val d'Isère map, in its October 2025 edition. Open the Val d'Isère piste map (PDF), an 11.6 MB file.

Piste maps and ski maps: your questions

Do Tignes and Val d'Isère each have their own piste map?

Yes. The two resorts share one ski area linked by lifts, and Tignes publishes its own official piste map. On this page, the first card opens the Tignes piste map and the second the Val d'Isère piste map.

Is a piste map enough for skiing off-piste?

No. It shows you where you are in the ski area, with the lifts and the marked runs, but off-piste routes are not on it. To head off-piste, you set out with the day's avalanche bulletin, an avalanche airbag pack, transceiver, shovel and probe, and a professional who knows the terrain.

Why a regional map for the Lofoten and Kamchatka?

In the Lofoten you go ski touring, with runs from the summit down to the sea; in Kamchatka you ski the flanks of volcanoes. A regional map shows the relief, the coastline and the access better than a resort map.
