Your questions before you book

How do I get a quote for a ski trip?

Write to us using the form on this page or by email at infoskitravels@powderwego.com, with your dates and the number of skiers. Depending on your level and what you hope for, we then send you a quote for one of our trips or for a private trip.

How quickly do you reply?

Within 24 hours, in English, French or German. Boris Malesset, the founder of PowderWeGo and holder of the French BEES ski instructor diploma, the Swiss level 3 ski instructor patent and the Austrian Schiführer diploma, answers on WhatsApp and by email.

Can we travel as a private group, on our own dates?

Yes, on most of our trips, on your dates and for your group alone. For ski and sail, several of our boats can also be chartered, and in Iceland, with private heliskiing, the helicopter and the hotel are reserved for your group.

What level of skiing do I need to travel with you?

Most of our trips call for a skiing level of 3/5: at ease off-piste, in all snow conditions. Our stay in Val d’Isère is open from 2/5. Each trip page also gives the fitness level, and our trip comparison sets them side by side. Two articles help you check where you stand, one on your off-piste skiing level, the other on your ski touring fitness level.

How much do I pay when I book?

A deposit of 30 to 60% of the price, depending on the trip, then the balance no later than two or three months before departure; for heli skiing in Sestriere, the full amount is paid at booking. The payment schedule is on each trip page, and our terms and conditions for trips and stays set the framework.

Are flights included in the price?

No, our prices are quoted excluding flights. On some trips, a domestic flight can be added to the package on request, such as Oslo – Svolvær for our week of ski touring in Norway, in Lofoten.

Is insurance included?

No, insurance is at your own expense. Take out cancellation insurance and assistance and repatriation cover, and check that both cover off-piste skiing; for our Iceland skiing trip, they are compulsory and proof is needed before departure.
