PowderWeGo takes you skiing with a mountain professional, from the fjords of Norway to the powder of Japan. From Val d’Isère we design each of our heli skiing, ski and sail, ski touring and freeride trips, and we travel with you.

Our story, from Val d’Isère
Boris Malesset was born on skis in the southern French Alps. An off-piste professional since 2001, he founded PowderWeGo in Val d’Isère in 2022 to share off-piste skiing in small groups and take you where the snow is at its finest.
Today a team of qualified mountain professionals skis with you, from the Alps to the far north, and on to Japan and Antarctica.

Guiding and safety
From the first turn to the last, a professional at your side
On our trips, your group skis with a PowderWeGo professional, a BEES-qualified ski instructor specialising in off-piste, and/or UIAGM mountain guide, for six skiers at most. Every skier wears an avalanche airbag pack and carries a transceiver, shovel and probe, all provided by us. Off-piste skiing takes place in unpatrolled mountain terrain, and the whole day is organised to reduce the avalanche risk.
Before each outing, your instructor or guide reads the snowpack and the weather, then chooses the route for the snow and the level of the group. The programme may change and the final word is theirs: knowing when to turn back is part of their craft, for everyone’s safety and enjoyment.

We design each of our trips and guide it on the ground, with our mountain professionals; bookings go through Aéreau Voyages, which organises and sells the trips. The booking and cancellation terms are set out in our terms and conditions for trips and stays.
Does PowderWeGo offer ski lessons in Val d’Isère?
Yes. Our ski lessons and off-piste days in Val d’Isère have their own website, PowderWeGo Val d’Isère; this site brings together our adventure ski trips.
