Sestriere is theitalian ski resort  the best known in Piedmont, especially since the Turin Olympics organized in 2006. It is connected to the “Milky Way” (Vialattea), aFranco-Italian ski area located between 1535 and 2700 m altitude, totaling no less than 410 km of slopes between Montgenèvre and Clavière, Cesana and Sansicario. It is also a <strong>eldorado for heliskiing</strong>, a stone's throw from France, accessible even for short stays. With its cumulative 8 m snow cover and 300 days of sunshine per year, all your wishes will be satisfied!

Firstski area  from the region, 2 hours from Turin and 20 km from the French border (including 3 hours from Val d'Isère), the site has a temporary base for the departure and arrival of helicopters . Our partner air operator has been located in Sestriere since 2010 and its pilots are the only ones who can transport passengers in compliance with Italian (ENAC) and European Civil Aviation on the Vialattea.

Heliski formula for the day:

Day 1 :Possibility to sleep on the station (optional, supplement to be provided)

Day 1 :Meet in Sestriere early in the morning, around 08:00. Distribution of safety equipment, briefing.

Heliskiing day in Sestriere, number of flights from 1 to 4 depending on the formula chosen. Possibility of mixing Helicopter and ski touring drops.

We separate at the end of this extraordinary day.

This program is indicative and may be modified depending on the snow conditions and the weather, the level and the wishes of the group, in order to ensure the safety and pleasure of all. The accompanying guide is the sole judge in the matter. 

If it is impossible to fly due to weather conditions, the accompanying guide will offer the skiers a day of off-piste skiing / freerando, and the helicopter part of the day's price will be refunded to the participants.

2-day Heliski weekend package:

How to get to Sestriere?

From the nearest airports and train stations:

  • Turin at 1:30 a.m.

  • Chambery at 1:30 a.m.

  • Geneva, Lyon at 2 h 40

  • Oulx 15 minutes away (direct TGV line Paris — Turin).

Optional: transfers by helicopter or taxi-minibus from airports, train stations and ski resorts.
